AMD AM3+ 4core 3ghz

Hi there, could not find a marketplace forum or something so I hope it is ok to post it here.

 

I am looking for an AMD processor, AM3(+) and at least 4 cores and 3.0 ghz. unclocked is possible. Trying to build a budget Fallout 4 pc! Do you have anything laying around which you want to sell?!

I have an Athlon X3 435 that unlocks to a Phenom X4 B25 and does 3.4GHz if interested.

get the fx6300 or the fx8320E if you already have an AM3+ mobo

or a phenom II x4 or X6 used if you are on a very tight budget

@harrynowl m running an msi N560GTX-Ti think it must be runnable, no top performance but will run fine I guess. You think you could send in to the netherlands?

The motherboard is very low quality, I wouldn't recommend using it. The power delivery system will fry if you even touch overclocking and it might throttle at stock speeds.

 

FX-6300 is good in terms performance/price for AM3+, that motherboard can't handle an 8 core such as FX-8350, I suggest selling it. If you want a cheap quad core, Athlon X4 860k is great, paired with a cheap FM2+ motherboard such as Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H

Looks like it does as asrock called it UCC

 

I run the CPU on an ASUS M4A78LT-M which is of similar quality so it should be fine

He should sell it though, no point in using it imo.
