Hello everyone!

I've been following Linus on Youtube for quite sometime and finally I'm here. YAY!

Also, I have like $6k to build an ultimate gaming pc, but with the new CES 2016 coming up I have been hesitating to build one.

I was thinking to use the following hardwares for my pc;

 

ASUS Rampage V Extreme
Intel Core i7-5930k
32-64GB DDR4 RAM

EVGA 980 Ti SLI (or) Titan X SLI
Samsung M.2 NVM Express SSD

It's going to be great :).

But guys, 2015 is almost over, should I wait or is there any new PC hardware (like CPU, GPU, motherboard) coming out in Q1 2016?

Personally I would wait but mother of god give me some of that. You could go top of the line CPU 2 or 3 Flagship GPUs and have a custom loop with that budget. In the USA

Pascal is supposed to be coming out in Q1, but the higher-end cards like the 980ti and titan x don't usually launch right away, so I would stick with 980tis if you want to build soon.

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

Personally I would wait but mother of god give me some of that. You could go top of the line CPU 2 or 3 Flagship GPUs and have a custom loop with that budget. In the USA

In Sweden that budget would get you... a i7 5960X, and 3 Titan X cards. Only. That means no mobo, RAM, storage, nothing more.

Yup, i hate the prices my country gives me.

Theory is when you know everything but nothing works. Practice is when everything works but you dont know why. In this computer, theory and practice are combined: Nothing works and i dont know why.

 

Atleast i can manage Some things, like my current OC personal best.

I looked up Pascal and it said Pascal is going to be 10 times faster than Titan X, that's cray! :) But I think that GPU is going to cost a lot :(

Yea, that's not cool. actually I've been watching a lot of review videos. You don't really need a i7 5960k. 5930k can deliver almost the same performance when it comes to gaming.

Very true. Id gone for some kind of Haswell-E CPU, if it werent for the fact that my current 6700K was waaay cheaper.

That, or id have x2 SLI 980 cards instead of 970's.
