Minecraft not launching in windows 10

Go to solution Solved by Ophidio,

I would try just redownloading the game in general, it sound more like it didn't download correctly. Are all of the Nvidia drivers up to date? Try running minecraft off the integrated gpu and see if it's just a problem with the GPU making it crash. Yes I understand you have a 980 but Nvidia has been notorious for causing minecraft to crash in 1.7.10.

Hey, don't blame me for wanting to test my new computer in minecraft with some ultra Shaders. I got the installer and everything and launched minecraft 1.7.10 without any mods installed and a brand new minecraft world but as soon as I am about to spawn in my world the game crashes and sends me to the launcher once again!

I have windows 10 and don't say my computer isn't strong enough, pretty sure a GTX 980 can handle Shaders.

If any more info is needed on this I am happy to provide with crash logs. Thanks in advance everyone.

Also I don't want the windows 10 beta edition, no mod support. (as far as I know)

MC is on 1.8.9 I think, why are you running 1.7?  Shader compatibility?  Anyways, did the crash give an error and if so what did it say?

Join the Appleitionist cause! See spoiler below for answers to common questions that shouldn't be common!

Spoiler

Q: Do I have a virus?!
A: If you didn't click a sketchy email, haven't left your computer physically open to attack, haven't downloaded anything sketchy/free, know that your software hasn't been exploited in a new hack, then the answer is: probably not.

Q: What email/VPN should I use?
A: Proton mail and VPN are the best for email and VPNs respectively. (They're free in a good way)

Q: How can I stay anonymous on the (deep/dark) webzz???....

A: By learning how to de-anonymize everyone else; if you can do that, then you know what to do for yourself.

Q: What Linux distro is best for x y z?

A: Lubuntu for things with little processing power, Ubuntu for normal PCs, and if you need to do anything else then it's best if you do the research yourself.

Q: Why is my Linux giving me x y z error?

A: Have you not googled it? Are you sure StackOverflow doesn't have an answer? Does the error tell you what's wrong? If the answer is no to all of those, message me.
