Is Cyberlink PowerDirector 14 any good?

DarkEnergy

I have a gift card for best buy so I figured I'd just get it. I've tried NCH's VideoPad (It doesn't use GPU), Adobe Premier (Uses ungodly amount of RAM), Sony Movie Studio (Slow, doesn't support new hardware, ugly), and Corals VideoStudio (It's alright but eh).

So far, PowerDirector seems to be working great. It looks good and It uses the GPU for fast render times. All I really need it for is combining videos and rendering them in mp4 1080p @60fps. It's somewhat future proof in that it supports 4k. (Windows Movie Maker doesn't apparently). Has anyone had this software before. Would you recommend it?
