Single card for future (cheap) upgradability. Check EVGA's B stocks for some real cheap 980s.

I'm thinking about SLI'ing to EVGA 4gb 960's instead of buying a single 980. I watched paul's hardware take on this question and they were very close but he was using 2gb 960 not the 4gb models.

Any help is appreciated!

Go with the 980 (or 980ti if possible as it is basically a titan x) the 960's have a small 128 bit bus so they cannot really utilize the 4gb frame buffer. Plus in sli you dont have 8gb you only have 4gb on each card. So imo the only true benifit is it looking cool to have 2 cards in sli.

Don't go 980.

390x has much value for the price.

Get 980 Ti if possible.
