5820k or 4790k?

Leo25
Go to solution Solved by The Official Czex,

Well I don't really need that gpu I'm thinking of getting a 750ti for £108 or getting this one but building first without a one?

The X99 system won't post without a GPU. It lacks integrated graphics.

Hi, I'm trying to decide between going x99 or z97 with the processors shown above. If I ere to go x99 it would cost me about £150 more I'm not much of a gamer I'm productivity user and will be editing videos.

Here are the two builds :

Build 4790k

Build 5820k

If you're doing a lot of editing than the extra cores of the 5820K will be worth it IMO.

Does he really need the better GPU in a "productivity" system?

If you're editing you many want to include a HDD into that build, Recordings/ Editings take up a lot of room/

So should I go for a 750ti or 950? Or if anyone has an AMD suggestion?
