I have not encountered that error myself.

Is your computer time correctly synced?

This error is put in place when there is a discrepancy between what your computer clock is saying, and what the network is saying. Make sure you sync your computer clock then try to re-launch the litecoin client to see if the issue persists.

You will still be able to receive coins with this error, but sending or solo mining could cause issues.

Try this, close down the Litecoin client fully.

go to the litecoin directory located in %appdata%\roaming\Litecoin Try to delete the peers.dat file.

Do not delete anything else especially wallet.dat (if you lose wallet.dat, all your coins are gone forever) might as well make a backup your wallet.dat while you're there. Remember to update your backups everytime to create a new address under the receive tab, or anytime you change the password.

If that still doesn't work, you can try re-downloading the blockchain by deleting everything in the litecoin folder except your wallet.dat

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

Also, just in case, go into the clock and check what you time sync source is.

In Desktop mode, click the clock/time and the option to change settings. Brings up an optional window for Time settings. Click the Internet Time tab. Click change Settings. Most likely says time.windows.com or something. Can click on update now to test and sync up.
