On what websites do you have Adblock disabled?

Just curious what websites people allow ads on.

For myself I have adblock off on Youtube, Twitch, and a few game fansites but that's about it.

none, I block all ads...

 

save around 5-13 minutes a day that I would spend watching ads getting things done, that all ads up to months in a lifetime

I don't even know how to disable adblock on some sites in firefox so goodfight me.

If you have the Adblock icon in the interface, clicking on it while on the appropriate site will give you the option of disabling it on that site.

That's the thing, everytime i try to click add to add on bar it won't check the box to do that. it's quite odd.

Linustechtips forum and I turn it off when I watch Youtube videos from people I like.

i only have it off on LinusTechTips.com and Twitch.com/linusTech :D and an anime website that only allow watching if adblocker is off :D that's it :D

If adds gonna advertise something useful like "running slow? Buy a SSD! [some brand name] just for [price]" and not enlarge your penis or how to lose weight in 4 days "with the 4 simple things" then i would consider turn off adblock...

Google ads are based on your internet history. Maybe stop visiting porn sites (while not in incognito) and you won't get those kind of ads.

Yeah i do go to sometimes - its more funny than watching stand up comedy, but still "lose weight"? I dont go on health sites or "how to lose weight" and im not talking about ads on google, but overall. On YT ive got a Whiskas (cat food ad) and i dont own a cat or think about it - my dog would eat him.

 

I dont need to go incognito - PC is mine, house is mine and i watch it to "study" porn movies. How much they spent for ex. house and just love the dialog. It funny as hell how its all fake...

I don't run adblock. It is basically stealing from content creators. Many many websites rely on AdSense or other solutions to provide revenue to provide the site. It's how YouTubers also get a large portion of their income.

I have AdBlock disabled on Twitch.tv (to support those few streamers I follow) and on teksyndicate.com. Everywhere else it's enabled.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

This site, aswell as a few other websites/forums I frequent. Turned it off on youtube for a while but it drove me nuts so I still run adblock on youtube, its just those preroll ads that annoy the hell out of me.

I've used Adblock since it first appeared on Firefox, that's so long ago I can't even remember what the internet looks like with ads.

 

I know the feeling. Trust me, don't switch it off. You will shit yourself. A lot of forums will look like adverts and not forums. Youtube is unbearable (in my eyes). Almost all other websites just spam adverts anywhere they can fit them. Pop-ups are abundant. Yeah, just make sure you've got adblock!
