They start on December 22nd (today) but they haven't opened yet...

 

When do they open?

Or 9 hours because sometimes Valve starts sales in late-mornings.

Now games are the lowest they would be the whole sale. Better if you ask me, now if you don't have money the first day, you can still get a game as cheap as possible the second or third day.

True, but the most of sale you can get from other website anytime. Steam sales was like a event for most people ... camping the store home pages and going on reddit to see what other people are getting on that day. It like black Friday/boxing day. The last sale was boring and didn't buy any games ... It good for new comers but i before we used to save up steam money way before the sale but now the sale just not special anymore.

8pm EET. Thats 7pm CET and 6pm GMT. Or if you use 24h clock, 20:00, 19:00 and 18:00. You can also cheat by checking some current sales/events on Steam store. Like Sword Coast Legends free weekend+sale. It says that sale ends on Tuesday 20:00 EET.

Good luck with that. Last sale was garbage compared to competition (mainly GOG.com). And I hear they will be using same method. So no flash sales or daily specials.

Yea the prices will be the lowest they will be during the sales. I kinda hope they suck and go back to some of the previous sale-tactics. Like the teams or the game a while ago. Really liked those things.
