Okay so issue. When I reboot the device my home screen or desktop is empty all my apps are in the app box and I can not long-press to bring up the widgets and wallpapers menu...

are you on a stable build or on nightlies?

No idea. Just checked, Nightly but the last update was a month old.. 

 

No "stable" builds for the Desire 816 apparently. 

 

 

Another issue my avatar / user picture is un-changeable. So what should I do? I can't use this phone safely? It's not going to work reliably??
