If you enter the offtopic page from the home page, then press the "start new topic" button the topic should be put in offtopic, although i think only admins can move a topic once its made

And your point?

Nothing, just thought after the Bendgate fiasco of the iPhone 6s or 6s Plus(? - not sure which one it was), I should share it.

That fiasco kinda died sometime back.

You got to love this people destroying devices for viewership!

I rather they give it to someone that really needs it but can't afford to have it.

"Test" is a very liberally used term in these idiotic videos.

Let's "test" if we can break a thing.

Turns out, if we try hard enough, we can break the thing.

Great content. Well worth my time.

They don't even repeat it to see if they can break more than just the one they happen to have. It's total nonsense.

Why is it called iPad pro?

Isn't it just an iPad big?

eventough the concept of these videos is pretty much just idiotic, i still think a tablet of this pricepoint shouldn't be bendable by just somebody applying some pressure with their hands. i mean, the guy in the vid breaks the thing in half pretty easily!

Because Apple has tried to make its form factor more suited to professional content creation rather than just content consumptiom and light creation. Personally I think they did a good job.

Every time I laugh at a "Bend/Break Test" video with my Dad:

"Give me 15 seconds and my plasma torch. You want to see it bent? I'd make it into a puddle."

so the gist of this is,

"lets test a device in a way no single consumer will do in the devices entire life span and see if it breaks"

this is about as useless as dropping a pc from the third story of a car park to see if it will work once its hit the floor.

pointless.
