i7 4790k 4ghz quad core

MSI z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard

Cooler Master hyper 212x

G Skill 16gb ddr3 2133 mhz

Samsung 850evo 120gb ssd

Seasonic s12 750W PSU

Gigabyte G1 Gaming Geforce GTX 970 4GB

Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD

Cooler Master Devastator combo Mouse&Keyboard

NZXT Phantom 410

 

this is my rig

 

i just builit, it was working on and turning on till i put ram in. help me please.

i am really worried.

i hope i didnt screw up my brand new pc. :'(

Your CPU is overheating due to a lack of cooler on it, yes this can break your PC quickly.

I just want to say, your PC is pretty nice. Maybe tidy up those cables a little, and get a CPU cooler on that CPU, like STAT. And you will have a nice looking build my friend.

Did you plug the cooler in? Have you tried booting with just one stick of ram?

Put back on the CPU Cooler, remove the GPU, then clear the ​CMOS. See if the PC will post properly.
