you have a 3d monitor?

you should just turn on 3d vision in the nvidia control panel and have it work...

the 3d drivers are part of the GPU drivers already

Also, what is the difference between the recommended and "tested" drivers vs beta. Are the beta drivers better?

No.  Tested drivers are certified by the Windows Hardware Quality Labs, and are guaranteed to be stable.  You may get a couple extra features/optimizations with the beta driver, but it's not guaranteed to be stable.

Go to the Nvidia Control panel and activate it it should already be installed when you installed the drivers, if, not re-download them.
