New Video Editing ITX Build! (Planning)

CartertheCOCguy

My budget is around 1000$ and I only play games casually (might change with the new pc though  :P ). And I want to get into making Youtube videos with GoPro, DJI Phantom 3, and DSLR Footage. I need a machine that can edit 4k footage with ease. Here is my current idea. Let me know your thoughts.. Thanks LTT Forum!  ;)

Everything is good except for the PSU. Grab an XFX or SeaSonic one in place of it.  ;)

What software will you be using to actually edit?

YES. I have one in my second rig, and while it seems to be a pretty good unit, it just has an insanely loud fan. Like, louder than the GTX 480 in the rig.

that's pretty banging although i'd get a motherboard with a M.2 slot and SSD as that'll take up less space and less cables.

Either Final Cut Pro or Adobe

Just making sure that if you try to do a Hackintosh, research the hell out of your parts (if you haven't already). ;)

And I just checked for OpenCL/CUDA comparisons in Premiere, and a 970 should do quite splendidly. :P

Sweet! Yeah I havent fully decided to commit to hackintosh. I've done some research about the driver issues, ect. and it seems really complicated  but I'm there isnt a problem YT and the internet cant fix  ;)

It is kinda complicated. I tried it on my rig, but no luck. Then again, I was using OS X 10.8. :P
