The only exclusives that CANNOT run on AMD are TXAA (which is sub-par compared to MSAA) and Gamestream (if you count Advanced PhysX which only 2 or 3 games use that makes 3) - everything else is shared and/or has a counterpart

Really I like both and would switch to AMD when they come out with another 9700 stompfest :) Now that card would be handy for those long gaming sessions when you get hungry, I don't see a down side here :D

ShadowPlay, GameStream, TXAA, Physx, DSR.

DSR = VSR. ShadowPlay/GameStream = Xsplit/OBS, TXAA < MSAA, Physx=nobody uses it, so I'd say that the real difference is that you can't use some of the GameWorks features with AMD GPUs, you can use some of them but not all, they're disabled

About the DSR part fair enough.

Shadowplay doesn't have a performance impact.

Physx is used although not that much, and it's amazing. just check borderlands, Metro, AC black flag.

i must agree on borderlands that shit is like day and night. i used to have it turned off but now im even turning other shit down just so i can unleash proper chaos with siren. without it you get some colory effect and thats it but with it stuff starts flying from all over the place.

"You know it'll clock down as soon as it hits 40°C, right?" - "Yeah ... but it doesnt hit 40°C ... ever  😄"
