The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

yeah just make sure that when deleting temp files you actually know what things you are selecting
if you check the wrong boxes you could delete all your desktop shortcuts, or network passwords, or a bunch of stuff you probably want to keep

but thats just for the crap cleaner part

the registry cleaner you can check all the boxes and its safe to delete

It does work, but I suggest not to use the registry cleaner.

Or if you just want to play safe then Disk Cleanup would do fine.

My question is very simple but I'm just wondering since I've never used it. But, does CCleaner actually work? I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions about it or experiences using it.

Yes, it can actually improve desktop performance too if your computer is too cluttered with junk

I've never had the registry cleaner actually fuck something up

You should allow it to backup the deleted keys though, just to be sure. It stores it as a .reg file, so if something stops working, you can just double click your latest backup and it'll reinstall all the keys.

Well good for you then, my laptop was f*cked up since I used the registry cleaner. Somehow it made my laptop blue screen like hell, I don't really like registry cleaner anymore. Yeah I should've made a backup of it, well.... I just want to play safe, disk cleanup does fine as well, though CCleaner offers more features.
