Advise on videography technique

Hi, any videography experts know how is this achieve, where the position of her stays consistent while shooting at different scenes.
This is definitely not greenscreen. What kind of equipment do I need if I were to try something similar? Tripod & camera is one of them.

Thank you! :)

im 90% sure there is a led panel, grab a dslr, well a decent one that will has multiple focus areas(sos forgot the actually word for that) as the hair and face need focus, looks like a wide angle lens to me. stay away from nikon unless you want everything to have a yellow filter on it.

SNIP

Tripod, some lighting and a camera

Set up the talent, and note in the frame where she is - you could even put some tape on the screen around her shape so you can line it up every time

Make sure you keep the same lens and set up on the camera

Move to different locations and film

put it all together

OR

Just green screen it :D

Like the panda said you have to mark it off on your screen. Use some electrical tape or gaffer tape to mark off the area where the subject's head should be in the screen.  The camera's LCD screen should also display a grid to help frame the shot.

Other things you need to mark off or keep note:

  • use the same lens for every scene
  • keep the subject the same distance away from the camera
  • and if you plan to chroma key some scenes, try to keep the lighting consistent with the background if possible

While this can be done using a chroma key setup, it's not necessary for all of the scenes.  It's all a matter of how you edit it together in the end.

PS: Parts of the video, if not all, were recorded with a chroma key setup.  Notice how the background lighting and the lighting on the girl differs in certain scenes.  It also seems audio was recorded externally, perhaps in a studio, and lip synced later in post.

And finally: PRACTICE!  Because that video was created by someone(s) with experience, perhaps a production company.

Its blinding obvious a lot of this, maybe all, was done with green screen

I'm not gonna go through the entire video to mark which scenes are obviously chroma keyed, which ones are not, and which ones are hard to tell... my head will explode to the music.   I'm already having a bad day, cracked my fish tank while I was cleaning it as I'm thinking of setting up an aquarium again, I don't want to make it worse.

Actually, most of it is green screen, but it's just a matter of marking it off and figuring out where to place her each time.

Easiest way would be to chroma key the subject, and "paste" them onto each scene at the same x and y coordinates.
