So you're literally just strapping a fan to the back of a mobo? o_O

The best way to cool the back of your motherboard is probably to not have a blanket of dust that putting a fan in such an enclosed space will certainly create.

I guess you can if you wanted I've seen some do that with over the socket cutout to give it some airflow over the back of the board but in general it's not needed.

Push towards mobo might be bit better but only if there's vent right next to fan.
