Is it enough? Njoy Ayrus 500

Skivai

Hello forum I'm new here and I need some help for a build. Here are the specs

I5 4690

Asrock z87 pro 4 or b85 pro 4

Nvidia geforce gtx 970

7200 rpm hdd, a standard SSD

2x4gb hyperx ram 1600 mhz

So my question is for the PSU I'm on a budget so I don't have much to spend. This is the one I'm considering but I'm not sure if it will be enough. http://www.njoy.ro/PSU/ayrus500

It's a Romanian company I don't know if I can trust them but its very cheap so I don't know.

Here are some photos.

SNIP

Please dont buy some generic brand terrible PSU, it can result in unstable performance, or even component failure

at a minimum you want something like the EVGA 500B 80+ bronze - or something similar to this

Desktop - Corsair 300r i7 4770k H100i MSI 780ti 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400mhz Crucial MX100 512gb Samsung Evo 250gb 2 TB WD Green, AOC Q2770PQU 1440p 27" monitor Laptop Clevo W110er - 11.6" 768p, i5 3230m, 650m GT 2gb, OCZ vertex 4 256gb,  4gb ram, Server: Fractal Define Mini, MSI Z78-G43, Intel G3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 4x 3tb WD Reds in Raid 10, Phone Oppo Reno 10x 256gb , Camera Sony A7iii

I would honestly drop the 4690 (especially since it's non-K) to a 4440 or 4460. the performance difference is negligible, and it should at least double the PSU budget.

your system is too good to risk killing it with a bad PSU (then it would be no Joy), it's one of the things you shouldn't skimp on.

I'd trust that PSU to power my system safely as much as a bolt of lightning.

That said, 500W is enough so long as you aren't planning to OC. It might do for a slight GPU OC, but I'd suggest going a bit bigger for anything heavier.

Give us a budget and a retailer or two and we should be able to help you make a good choice.

Well I have most of the parts I only need a cpu and a power supply I have the equivalent of 140 USD left for them and I have 2 choices: buy an i3 4170 for like 120 USD brand new or buy the I5 4690 for 100 USD from a guy that lives nearby (he has no knowledge of computer components I guess). This Is the site I used for most of the parts http://m.emag.bg/

impressive, ok then stick with that CPU.

regarding PSU, from that store, all the good/decent ones are out of stock (Super Flower in particular, one of the best manufacturers, with some units actually within the price bracket)

Thank you all for the advice. Seriously this is the best community ive seen. Fast and usefull advices you guys rocK!

So about my question... Ive decided to go with the Zalman ZM500-LX power suply it has 500 wats capacity, 37 amps on the 12v rail, 2x 6+2 pin PCI-e power connectors, 4+4 power connectors for cpu and its just about 2-3 dollars above budget so its not a problem. And think Im all set after i get cpu. Thank you for the help and wish you all happy holydays!
