Looks like his self-proclaimed "girly taupe" ASUS Zen Watch 2. Where as his pink everything, is not, in fact, girly at all. ;)

? Any reason why?

The social part is just a marketing gimmick for just another Forex/CFD/Binary trading site. It is a leveraged account and 99% of people who will put money in, will lose it all eventually. Super lucrative for the company itself and affiliate marketers, but practically the same as throwing your money in the trash ...or spending it on a pair of Jaybird X2s.

If you like gambling, go to a real casino. It is so much more of a better experience and setting,... if you want to get rid of your money.  If you want to seriously invest/trade/grow your money, use a real broker. Do some research. Want someone else to do the trading for you? Look into diversified ETFs. Im tempted to put in names of companies I trust, but that would make me seem dishonest.

I've also left this same comment under the youtube video, but it got burried under people actually just discussing and enjoying the content of LTT :) As it should be! I'm just peeved because I have spent some years in the trading industry and know that the statistic of 99% of people losing it all in these types of accounts, is very real.

I don't think it's misleading though. While I don't think it's a wise investment option. I think the people who are looking into such services should already know the risk. Linus is doing an advertisement of the service, not as a financial adviser giving financial advice. I personally prefer stock indexes (currently have my retirement in an S&P 500 stock index), which has been trading much better historically than any mutual fund or 99% of individual brokers.

well Linus said it will pick sponsor based also on the community feedback so maybe you should let him know on twitter as well. I hope he will take your thoughts in consideration and pick a different sponsor :)
