what do you need to be able to stream with a laptop?

my friend has a windows 10 laptop. he doesnt want to stream anything major, just devpro which is a card game. neither of us now anything about streaming so i was hoping you guys could help us out.

Pretty much just need software for it such as OBS, XSplit, or ShadowPlay (Nvidia)

OBS is free, same with shadowplay (only if they have an nvidia gpu that supports it), I think AMD might have something that goes with their GPUs that's similar to shadowplay too. (Might be wrong, though.)

Yes.

 

 

OBS is free, same with shadowplay (only if they have an nvidia gpu that supports it), I think AMD might have something that goes with their GPUs that's similar to shadowplay too. (Might be wrong, though.)

obs can use vce as well on amd cards
