Hey! I'm semi-new as I have been signed up for a while but have never really posted. I am an owner of the Razer Blade 2015 and was wondering if there is anything like the HengeDock available for the MacBook Pros. I really love the Blade and it turns into my desktop whenever I get home. My biggest reason to make this post is to see if anyone could make something like this for me. This is a major deal for me and I would be willing to pay a pretty penny for one.  :) Here are the pictures.

P.S: If someone were to make one. First, THANK YOU and YOU ARE A SAVIOR. Second, I just want it to be black, aluminum and match the Razer texture.

Not that it would be all that hard to have one built.

@op, you'd be looking at spending around $1,000, if not more to get that milled, sand blasted, and anodized, and probably more than that if you try to make it out of a single piece of aluminum.

WOAH! I did not expect it to be that much. Why would it be so expensive? It doesn't have to have the detailed curves or anything the Henge docks have. I was just thinking it would be milled from a a block. Like Take one block that's the appropriate size and just cut out the middle part. The cables can be bought by me as they are simply extensions. I was hoping to go around $200 or less. Maybe if it was just black and aluminum with holes for ports? I would even be willing to pass the $200 mark slightly.

You'd probably be paying $500 at the very least, just for the block of aluminum.

Damn. Are there any other materials to use? I take great care of my things and honestly any material that can old my laptop safely would work. Are you someone that would be willing to make one? I am good with most materials just that it will hold my Blade and at least remotely match in looks.

I would be, if I had any of the requisite tooling. Honestly, finding a place with a medium-large format 3d printer would probably be your best bet.

Would the filament be anywhere near sturdy enough to hold the laptop safely? I feel like its extremely weak in terms of materials.

You'd be fine as long as you're using at least a 50% infill. (I'm totally estimating there, since I'm not super familiar with all the ins and outs of 3d printing.) basically, as long as it's done properly, it will be plenty strong enough.
