Need a 650W PSU or its fine with an 550W?

Hello there,

I'm  upgrading my old PC and i currently have an:
 -CPU: AMD fx8350 ​​

 -MEMORY: 8Gb ddr3
 -1TB HDD
 -(Case: Zalman Z11 hf1 with 5(x120mm)+2(x80mm)fan)

All what i need a GPU and a PSU...

So the GPU what i want is a:
 - Gigabyte GTX 960​ G1 Gaming (4gb)
​ or
 - Sapphire R9 380 Nitro​​​​​ (4gb)

 

What kind a PSU can turn this machine on?

it will be fine with an 550W? or i need a larger, 650W?
I'll check some for example:
 -FSP Raider 550W

​ -FSP Raider 650W

 -EVGA Supernova G2 550W
 -EVGA Supernova G2 650W​​

What am i need?

R9 380 - while 550W is enough FPS Raider series are crap. EVGA G2 550W

550W is probably fine

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Hi.Recommended power supply for configuration you wish is-650W(i would recommend you EVGA Super Nova 650W).Do not risk with that you have already,you could damage your machine bad.
