Can't overclock VGA with Windows 10

Hi, In my system I have a Sapphire HD7970 dual-x overclocked by default at 1ghz (vram at 5,8ghz). When I had Win7, I've overlocked further to 1150mhz (vram at 6ghz) and it was rock solid, even when I switched to Win8 and Win8.1.

Now I've tried to overclock it at the same value on Win10 and it doesn't want to apply those settings. I've tried a lower clock speed and many oc software (many versions of trixx and the latest afterburner), but without success. I've also tried to not touch the vram clock but it didn't work.

Anyone has this problem? What can I do?

The specs of my system are:

Intel i5 3570k with CM Hyper 612s

MSI z77 GD-55

Crucial M4 256gb

Sapphire HD7970 Dual-X with Arctic Accelero IV

2 * WD Caviar Green 1Tb in raid1

1 * WD Caviar Blue 1Tb

(sorry for english...I'm italian but I tried my best xD)

So 1150mhz is too much but it gave me 1-2 fps? I don't understand it. But if so, the vga wouldn't overclock also on win7 and win8. Otherwise, on win7 and win8 I've reached also 1175mhz...
