Why there is 100 post limit in status uptades?

Can it be disabled, it is annoying when there is limit like this, we were having "really" interesting conversation.

You were sticking it into places...

Just wanted to aim mortar fire at your iceberg. Mortar is quite usefull to resolve problems these days you know.
