So a while ago I saw that Knights of the Old Republic is available on Android... while I'm not sure about spending 10 bucks on a game I know very well already, it's intriguing.

I've also never played anything Final Fantasy (yes, yes, I know) so... are those worth it? And what other full games are there on Android?

Do they work well with touch controls or do some work with a gamepad and Chromecast?

Mainly the concept interests me, I'd probably go for a PC version in most cases - but FF just doesn't have PC versions for the old games and I'm not getting a PS1 or SNES (which my brother sold years and years ago)

Cheers,

John

These are full games, released for Android and made to be played with the touchscreen.

Other than those two, i dont know what else is fully released on Android (not counting emulators obviously).

well, just because something works with the touchscreen doesn't mean it works WELL with it... ;) I guess FF probably is a given, what with its menus and turn based combat.

Anything about Chromecast support? Would be great to chill on my couch and play Final Fantasy on my telly with my phone as a gamepad...

I was about to jump on that... and then I saw that they cost HALF on Android. Goddamit, Steam... :/
