Volume icon gone?

Try this-

 

-Open "Task Manager"

-End the task "Explorer.exe"

-Keep "Task Manager" open

-At the top left of "Task Manager" click "File" and then click "New task"

-Type in "Explorer.exe"

-Done!

 

Should fix the problem, if it doesn't I don't know what to tell you, but this usually fixes all my problems.
