Best Bang for My Buck Gaming or Ultrawide monitor

Im looking for the best bang for my buck monitor that that this build would be able to run fine

I would prefer it to be either 144hz with a low responce time or ultrawide

144Hz with a low refresh rate.... Uh.. (assuming you mean response time, which you shouldn't really pay any attention to)

 

The BenQ XL2420Z is probably one of the best 1080p 144Hz monitors. 

 

And the LG 29UM65-P is an Ultrawide without a massive price tag.

Couldn't he just get a XL2411Z for cheaper over the XL2420Z. As far as i know the only major difference between them is the Displayport(20z) vs D-L DVI(11z). So unless hes planning on connecting the monitor to a laptop it should not matter that much.
