Shadow Ghost

http://www.microcenter.com/product/445399/29UM67_29_UltraWide_219_Full_HD_FreeSync_LED_Monitor
for the price
-29'' which might not fit on my desk with my BenQ XL2411Z 24
-60hz if it was 144hz would be a insta buy for me but sure my gpu can't display high fps at this resolution
-FREESYNC
-IPS panel i actually looked at it in the store BOY IT WAS FUCKING BEAUTIFUL and was hesitant to buy it then the salesman try to do his job up selling it then when i finally say okay ill take it. "oh sorry man none in stock but if you give me your email i will notify you when it's in stock"
btw i have the R9 390 should i get a beefier graphics card to get a a solid 60 fps in games like witcher at 2560 x 1080
also the IPS panel will be helpful with its great color rep i'm learning game development using things like Maya, photoshop,Zbrush

I also have an R9 390 and am looking into buying that monitor too. It should handle games fine, and freesync is a nice touch. You should be able to hold 60fps at 2560x1080 at High settings in a lot of games. I'd say go for it.

It's expensive, has 165Hz refresh rate and a res of 1440p with a IPS Display...

If you have the money, i'd say go for it?

The only selling point is G-Sync which with an R9 390 makes no sense. 165hz might be nice but only with dual GPU set-ups where you could achieve that frame-rate. As for the OP I recommend the Free-Sync variant http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-mg279q
