I had the crimson series drivers installed for my video card but it started to stutter in games, any way I could the previous ones?

Did you fully uninstall your previous drivers using DDU first?

Especially since they changed a lot of things, if you have issues, you should do so.

 

If you use Windows 10, first disconnect from the internet entirely(otherwise windows 10 will try to reinstall them), then run DDU in Safe Mode.

After booting back in Windows, install the crimson drivers(that you downloaded beforehand), reboot, reactivate Internet and all should work. (I don't personally install the AMD gaming evolve application, so maybe that could be the issue)

It's beta, because otherwise, the "last" stable was way back when Windows 10 came out.
