how to chek what the ram in your PC is

Unfortunately most people on here don't know nearly as much as they should to provide people with help. You can find your rams timings inCPU-Z as well, which you should shop for ram with the same timings for maximum comparability.

 

On my first post I gave a (free)method of finding the timings I also said there were other free installs.  If that is not good enough then I do not know what else I could do for the OP.

reading whats on the RAM gave me a part code that lead to the wrong thing if the speed of the ram is anything to go by

i just copied  khx1866c10d3/8g and pasted it into google and that came up on amazon so im assuming it most likely is

didnt show up when i did but whatever, acording to some other help thats not the one at least, i think its the 1866MHz version of that

just gona say that if the manufacturer(kingstone in my case, or rather the hyperX branch of them) says that there is no product with that product code(the one i got from reading on the ram) i think the lable is a misprint and im not going to trust what else is on it to 100%  but thanks any way
