AMD driver support for non-GCN graphics cards comes to an end

didex

hey guys. So this just happened to the AMD Radeon HD 8000 Series (HD 8400 and below), Radeon HD 7000 Series (HD 7600 and below), Radeon HD 6000 Series, and Radeon HD 5000 Series Graphics products.

I have an old 5750. Do i need to change the gpu or is there a problem at all to me? Thanks for help : )

It will still work fine, there just won't be any new drivers. Eventually the aging driver may cause issues, but for now it'll do fine.

HD 7000 series and newer are still supported. EDIT- nevermind, I didn't notice the other stuff.

Also, I'd suggest getting an upgrade anyways since the 5750 is an old, outdated GPU.

I used to be quite active here.

They simply just ended the support. This means that your gpu will no longer receive any updates, meaning that if a game runs choppy on your gpu when you shouldn't, AMD will do nothing to fix it.
