They don't use the best capacitors, but not the worst either. Check out johnnyguru.com among other sites. The CX series is not bad for a decent power supply on a budget, the CS series is worse last time i checked (cpl weeks).

They're actually not terrible, or shit. They're just not as good as most PSU's in their price range, as they have inferior capacitors and a low thermal limit of 30c. However they are better than a majority of cheaper no name PSU's.

If not, its because a cx unit cant really output what it says, overclock anything and itll scream for mercy

The CX series is built on one of CWT's worst designs. This means second-rate capacitors, and a meh soldering job. And the CX750 can't do 750 watts.

As for the CS, they're built by Great Wall, have mostly first-rate capacitors, and typically isn't that much more than the competing CX PSU.
