Posted November 22, 2015 The likelihood of something going wrong for you with flashing your mobo's BIOS is so minimal that it's not really worth thinking about. It's usually as simple as downloading the BIOS, putting it on a USB flash device, going into the UEFI and telling it to flash the BIOS to a newer version. Wait a few moments and boom, you should have a new flashed board. I also work by one of Carey Holzman's rules - update it so that you don't have to. It never hurts to have the latest version of a motherboard's BIOS.
