After finally getting my keyboard to the point where I can type, it still isn't behaving right in games, sometimes the keys get delayed by about 20 seconds, and someimes it freezes completely, I've verified the keyboard on other PCs and tried other keyboards as well.

And now for the second problem,

Apparently my windows key is illegal, as it keeps telling me that my copy of windows is not genuine.

I bought an OEM copy of windOws 7 Home premium off of newegg about 2 years ago.

M$ is not helping, as it's an OEM copy, and they want me to buy a new lisence.

So there's my problems. Any ideas?

If you truly bought a genuine OEM version of Windows 7 which has started screwing up shit, let's say you did, I'll PM you something that might help you actually

Owning a liscense does not give you any right, to use an illegal version of MS Windows. just as a notice.. a Friend of mine had to pay $7k for doing so.

If you can be bothered, I would suggest reinstalling Windows will probably fix your problems. As long as you don't change the hardware, the OEM license should still be valid, and unless it was a hardware issue your keyboard should start working.

i think it's the fact that the key was origonally installed to an Foxxconn 780 Board, which blew it's caps when I installed the phenom II x4 965 BE (the website said it was supported, but I later found out it cant handle a CPU above a 95 watt TDP) and was discontinued a day before, so I bought this one, I put it in and booted up with no problems, untill now.

I bought a win7 family pack from pcworld in the UK, and this year microsoft is refusing to accept the key, it's stupid, i called MS and they said it was a fake key, when it's clearly not since i bought it from a reputable retail store.

Yes. OEM keys are tied to the original motherboard they are installed on. Only retail versions can be transferred across different motherboards.

I need more SSDs.

He got caught, by using a crappy method of using a "cracked" windows. The first update he got through Indows Updates, he got "busted" so the speak. A Week later he had a meeting with the Police infront of his doorbell. Well they took his PC found what they were seeking for (he didnt had anythiing illegal except windows) and he got his PC back.. including a letter for further steps.

Yes it was that easy for them..

You could steal a volume viscense and call that your "cracked" windows. the chance to get busted then is more likely 0.
