FX-8320 bottleneck Crossfire

i got 8320  up to 4 ghz on msi 970 gaming and r9 285.

 

if i buy r9 380 Nitro and crossfire them will FX-8320 bottleneck ?

Not true, I had my 8350 OC'd at 5Ghz and It still was a huge bottleneck on my system.

The one with the higher amount of memory will limit itself iirc. AMD is very flexible with xfire.

Yes, however the usable memory will be the smallest amount.

 

AMD's crossfire requisites are a lot less strict than NVIDIA's SLI.

If you are playing cpu intensive games, then yes it will probably bottleneck.

yeah, the FX processors are a bottleneck, but how much depends on the game

most will probably run fine, just not as good as they could with an i5/i7
