Fallout 4 console command

So I can't open console command with the told key is there a way how ??

AMD (and proud) r7 1700 4ghz- 

also (1600) 

asus rog crosshairs vi hero x370-

MSI 980ti G6 1506mhz slix2 -

h110 pull - acer xb270hu 1440p -

 corsair 750D - corsair 16gb 2933

Why do you want to open console?

need fusion core can't afford one

So need caps

Some users have reported that be default there console doesn't work (i.e. pressing ~ does nothing). If it works for you the below isn't necessary. To solve this issue simply in windows go to control panel, then go to languages and set you keyboard layout to US.

Another solution that you can try that I myself can't test as I only have a US keyboard is to try using the '@ key. Thankyou Tharsghaard for this tweak.

This isn't a great long term fix if you don't want the US layout but it works for now.

Check if the above helps.

You can do all sorts of stuff in there, one of my quests got bugged and i used the console to restart it. 

I know you can do that I was just wondering why the op wanted to.

I don't believe there is a rule forbidding cheating in single player.

Depending on your nationality the keyboard might have a different key to bring down the console. Check the wiki

Knowing what key is nessessairy to bring up the console is pretty handy in bethesda games regardless.. Getting stuck sucks

This is a single player game, your point is yours and only yours, no one cares what anyone does with its OWN game when its single player.

There are plenty of times when I needed the console. To cheat, to noclip for one reason or another, from cheating to stopping glitches... Move npc to player, testing a mod out, whatever. NPC battles. Once I've finished a run legitly, I do whatever I want.

 

You might care about sense of accomplishment, but considering how fantastically easy this game is, it's not much of one, and some people don't care for a sense of accomplishment or don't experience such a feeling the same way you do.

I do think cheating in a single playing game is fine since its your game (people that cheat in multiplayer can rot!) but do agree with this point.

 

I used console for some hard to get resources and a few caps but after felt 'dirty' and felt like if I kept doing it I would lose interest fast (same thing happen in GTA V when I was gift a few billion dollars :P). So I stopped with commands.

 

But when I do a 2nd play through, ALL THE COMMANDS will be entered  :ph34r:
