Dude they are not worth it. Just look at it for a start they are from 2001 that should tell you enough in this instance.

Why not? They should be good enough. Something is better than nothing, and if it's your budget go for it.

 

I was under the impression folding was more GPU dependent then CPU?

Dude they are not worth it. Just look at it for a start they are from 2001 that should tell you enough in this instance.

its only good because its cheap dont expect pushing too much out of an dual core system 

as its stated before if you wanna do folding on cpu you will get high ppd with 16 core and more

I wouldnt do it. Save up for a decent rig. A 2p/4core system would draw a lot of power, with very little PPD.

 

But hey, every little bit counts. if you want to then go for it
