Trying to start folding

I want to start folding on my laptop, but the client will not open. When I click on Folding@home, nothing will happen. I'm not sure what to do.

CPU: RYZEN 5 2600   Motherboard: MSI B450I GAMING PLUS AC   Memory: CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 16GB 3200MHZ   Storage: TEAM GROUP MP33 1TB

Sorry man i don't know, btw i only heard about folding, what is it exacly?

There are two programs you should run to fold. The "client" and the "controll."

 

If you only have the client, you cant setup folding. And if you only have "controll" it wont work without the client.

Alright. I reinstalled it, and it works now. How can I tell if I am correctly folding for the Linus Tech Tips team?

Just make sure where it says team you have 223518 entered. Once you complete at least on WU, you should show up on the stats page within 24hrs.
