$1500CAD Gaming Build?

TrinityHigh

Hey guys and gals!

I'm asking anyone to put together a PC Part Picker list for me to suggest possible builds that come in around $1500CAD that will be for gaming! It can be an AMD or Intel build! If you're not in Canada, select the option in the top right to make the currency Canadian! I would love to see what all of ye suggest!

It sucks that a $1500 CAD build is only a $1130 USD build. lol

Thanks!

(If this isn't the right thread to post this in I'm sorry!) :/

This build if is you do not want to overclock your CPU. If you do bring the 980 TI to a 390x and change the mobo and cpu. Also buy windows off of reddit or G2A.

The 550W PSU is safe to use, but you have very little overhead for overclocking...

Great thread, was planning to get 1300-1500 range pc too.

btw little off  topic what monitor resolution/refresh rates be ideal for these builds? Also, would they handle running multiple monitors just fine (1 gaming, 1 browsing/working)?

1920x1080 @60 Hz or 144Hz is the sweet spot for the single R9 390.  As you go ultra wide, or 1440p the 390 has to work more and the FPS in game will fall.

Running multiple monitor is fine for the 390.  I have been doing it for years on much, MUCH slower GPUS.
