(US-EVGA B-stock) gtx 980's and more from EVGA 359$

0ld_Chicken

The B-Stock ACX 2.0 970 is $260, but you'll probably get charged at least $10 shipping. Meanwhile I can buy a brand new EVGA GTX 970 ACX 2.0+ with a 3 year warranty and a free game (AC Syndicate or Rainbow Six Siege) for $290 with free shipping.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487136

So I pay $20 more for 2 more years of warranty and a free game, not to mention getting a card with better power delivery that should overclock a lot better (ACX 2.0+ has much better power delivery than ACX 2.0).

So should I get this 980 kingpin or the 390x?

Lots of people complaining about overclocking the 980kpe. I don't see why you wouldn't be overclocking a card that's built to. But whatever floats your boat.

tons more!

I got my 980 from evga bstock and love it!

Question about buying a psu from bstock, does it come with all the cords/connectors it would normally come with?

Question about buying a psu from bstock, does it come with all the cords/connectors it would normally come with?

Wait what are those cords that don't come with the box? Would I need to buy some 3rd party cords?

mine did not come with any cords, connectors, disks or anything but the card its self and some plastic plugs in the ports and on the pci-e connections.  hope that helps!

because of you, OP, I got a coveted 970 FTW+ for 250$ rather than a comparably crappy 960 for 150$ or a r9 380 for 180$. I was lucky to have the money at the time, as well. I ultimately wanted the 970 anyway, and was just taking second best to upgrade from the 560 i currently have. I would not have been able to afford the 280$+ that newegg and everywhere else has been running. thanks!

I hope its in as good condition as the others have described, though, if it fails on me anytime soon... that would suck. lol.

Glad you found a deal!  still comes with a one year warranty so you'll be covered for a while.  Can always sell it before then!

ahh, I dunno then, never bought a bstock psu.  I would assume they would at least make sure you had all the major (modular) cables but I would not be surprised if there were no adapters or other things besides the actual cables themselves

thats pretty much the position I find myself in right now... If I had the cash I'd do it for sure, especially since I just got my 144hz monitor.  Now I'm turning settings down to increase fps and that kinda makes me sad (but not 475$ sad, since I'd need another waterblock too)

So this 980 FTW gaming ACX 2.0 will preform much better than the 390x I was just about to buy correct? Even with less VRAM? I was literally waiting for a good deal to come and here it is. Also what cords will I need for this card I currently have a GTX 960 2gb and was looking to upgrade.

no

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

they come with a 1 year warranty from evga so if it was Dead On Arrival you could RMA it and they would certainly replace it.  They do not come with cords though (at least mine didnt)

I always LOVE EVGA's B-Stock deals. Got a friend in the states who saved $280 off his graphics card and power supply.

Too bad shipping anywhere other than USA makes it not even worth a look. $90 shipping... I'll save money buying it at regular price, in CAD.  :P You guys are lucky.

My 980 just arrived bitches, will post pictures in a bit. Just gonna confirm that B-Stock doesn't come with anything other than the GPU and packaging shiz, though you could've just looked up an unboxxing of a B-stock GPU and figured that out.

Warning, kinda big.

0d46b185d84fcc297110cc77d51118df.jpgd350e864bb6697205723a350ea465a97.jpgbf151a22f5a7fe3f23ab8ad95f1a4cd8.jpg

It looks brand new except for like really two small stains on the backplate which are barely noticable, and the SC sticker that you can see has a corner barely peeled off. If that's what I have to get to save like $200 I'm fine with it. Props to EVGA, they came through.
