As long as you're not making money from competitive anything, you really don't need that 1ms, so if the 5ms panel appeals to you more, just go for it.  Refresh rates matter more really.

Really, just stay in your budget and get a decent monitor.  Breaking your budget for PC components is...not recommended.  For anything really, unless it's super important :D

So should i go with the wider one?

It is quite a fair amount of extra pixels to render, but if you have a system capable of doing that in games at 60FPS, why not :D I personally care more about hitting the V-Sync limit than having eye candy in games and I spend hours fine tuning my games for the perfect balance for me while maintaining 60FPS.

The Ultrawide is about 30% more pixels to render.

Shouldn't be an issue for the most part.

Why a Z mobo coupled with a non-K CPU?

I plan to get a 4690k when my budget allows so

Also its the same price of the H97 board i wanted. And this one also looks great so why not

You'll probably be spending more in total cos you'll have to get the new CPU, and resell your old CPU at non-new prices.  Wait a bit and buy the whole set when you can? :)
