What's something you would / do always recommend to people around the forums or anywhere else but would never actually buy for yourself?

Im curious to see what some people will have to say for this.

Wouldn't it defeat the purpose of a recommendation if we would never buy it ourselves?

I recommend a 380 over a 960 but I wouldn't buy either because I'm more towards the very top of the performance spectrum.

It would have to be insanely specific. Like a Quadro (which i legitimately recommended to someone yesterday as it suited their use case)

AIO GPU cooling solutions, i suggest them. but would never purchase one for myself.
