Windows OEM versions

DJ46

I looked at people that had problems with the DSP OEI version and they got support from them so I will try to get it. I hope it gets here soon so I can continue with my rig.

So, my last question.

What would YOU buy? Would you rather spend less on Windows 7 Pro (around 10€ or less of savings) or pay more (70€) for Windows 8 Pro? Also take into consideration that if I get Win 8, I will buy the StartIsBack for another 4€.

If you get Windows 8, you'll learn the new UI, and pass through the learning curve. You basically have to push yourself for about 1 month, at least on average. Some people get used to it in a week, others takes a second month. We are all different.

I will get Win 8. Win 7 would save me about 5-10€ and that is kinda useless. But I will get StartIsBack, from what I've seen it makes the OS quite good. Also, I basically want to stay on 7 but I want a quicker and newer OS.

Just try to learn Windows 8.

The Start Screen won't go away.

I'll help you get started, if you want, to reduce that learning curve.
