I don't really think VRMs matter TOO much on Intel motherboards... just get the cheaper of the 2/the one that matches your colour scheme the best.

They are about equal to be honest. But for most people both are overkill so the VRM shouldn't be the only factor makes you choose 1 board over another.

go with asus, its a much larger company and has a reputation for making some of the best motherboards in the world

So then what's a good way of measuring build quality? There aren't many reviews on Z170 mobos atm

Any Z170 will have great build quality, for the most part there is zero gain in buying really expensive motherboards
