Request opinion on GPU temp (new install)

Sailordude9980

Hello

I recently added another Asus Gtx 980 ti for SLI. I'm learning as much as I can via Internet, books etc.

Need some perspective on my GPU temps. Is it cool enough? I have very little room for air flow between the cards.

Temperatures are fine - they could be better, but no signs of overheating at all.

What "books" are you learning from?

If you want to know actual max temps use furmark, its more accurate then just measuring the temperature after a gaming session.

Furmark also puts an unrealistic load on the GPU which will not be met in a video game. It's not a very good tool to use IMO and some people have had cards ruined because of it.

Well I am night school, so C++, Java at the moment.

I have heard that as well. However given my own ignorance to cooling / bench marking, I lack the evidence to present to the group to make such a claim. ( That's not a slam on you, nor was it meant as sarcasm)

If you decide to use it, be careful and I would suggest not using it to verify an overclock. People have had passes with Furmark but instant crashes in games.
