Do you need a copy of Windows?

For one, we don't even know where you're located so we don't know what would fit your small budget the best.

Please read: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-reccomendations-please-read-before-posting/

Realize that we'd have to assume some things if we were to try suggesting parts and that would probably take longer than if you had provided us more information in the first place.

The Prodigy M was released recently, which supports mATX at the same size as the Prodigy (an mITX case). It's very small and has a very modest price, you can't get much smaller than that without it being an inferior value.

Actually, the Prodigy is far from 'very small'. It's an itx the size of an matx case. The Prodigy is in fact one of the larger itx cases.

It's still a very small case. Sure you can go smaller, but generally it gets too expensive for this price point as I pointed out above.

There are several mini itx cases that are cheaper a a few around the same price point: http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/case/#sort=a6&t=9,10&u=1

The list is blank?

Edit: Compatibility filter was on. Those cases support mITX aren't only mITX cases, but instead may support much larger form factors, and even the mITX-only cases pretty much have a high price tag or probably aren't suitable to the OP's standards.

It's a url of filtered cases. If you still have a build in your cookies, it could appear blank. Clear your parts list and it would work as intended.

What do you mean? The largest form factor any of the cases that were listed near or below the Prodigy's pricing don't support anything larger than mini itx.

What's the point of a mitx-only case? How are all of these cases not suitable to the OP's standards?

A lot of these cases probably won't look good to the OP, and the majority of them are quite a bit more expensive than the Prodigy. Also consider the overall layout of the case, the Prodigy has received very positive feedback in terms of design as well, and includes much more customizability such as windowed side panels and various colors, as well as the budget that the OP has (~$600 total) which really restrains case choice.

Looks are subjective. Also, I was talking about the cases with the same or lower price of the Prodigy, which there are. The Prodigy isn't the only good itx case and isn't exactly a cheap case to begin with.

Of course looks are subjective, I never said they weren't. I also didn't say that there weren't lower priced cases, just that there weren't really better choices, or even that the Prodigy is the only good mITX case. You seem to be attacking an argument that doesn't exist.
