Yeah, but does it add extra watts changing the power limit to the max?

Power consumption doesn't really have an effect on performance though(its an after effect). When you raise clocks you get more performance(mostly), usually raising power limits doesn't do anything(unless overclocking, then it allows you to get higher clocks theoretically).

 

There is the "unless" that I thought of in my last post:

"Edit: Unless adjusting the power limit allows turbo frequencies to turbo higher, then I would say "ehh I guess"."

 

Edit: Misread your question, yes adjusting the power limit allows your chip to draw more watts/power.
