Any Sleep Experts?

nuttysandwich

So almost every night in the middle of my sleep I wake up paralysed and I can't breathe, i'm fully conscious but again unable to move or breathe, eventually by body reacts to the lack of oxygen and panics. What is this and how do i stop it.

You should seek a professional's opinion, not that of an individual on a tech forum.

Seriously, go see a doctor.

That's a clear sign of sleep paralysis. I'm not a doctor but I highly suggest seeing one.

I'd go see a doctor ASAP. I've had sleep paralysis. But I have not experienced being unable to breathe.

I think it's like when your in the deepest sleep and your randomly and suddenly worken up that can happen. But if it happens frequently it could be a problem

Waking up paralyzed is one thing that's not super super uncommon (since as you said, you're 'paralyzed' while you're asleep to stop you from acting out your dreams)..HOWEVER, basic autonomic functions (i.e. breathing) should not be paralyzed.

Sounds like some form of sleep paralysis.  Physically it isn't a long term problem, physcologicaly on the other hand ... As mentioned above by djdwosk97 et al, seek profesional help, gp/primary care giver in the first instance, they may refer you to a neurologist or they may just get you to change your sleep habits.

he could just mean like shortness of breath. A cpap could help with that
