Well Considering this thread is in general discussion. I guess you're asking about peoples personal preference not what to buy.

My preference is AMD. Always been a bit of a fan boy.

Hopefully Zen actually performs.

I really do love AMD, but except for their low-end offerings, they just don't compete with Intel.

Depends, to make it easy i do it like this.

Does it need a dedicated gpu? If it does, intel cpu, amd gpu, because i hate nvidia. I really hate them.

 

If it doesn't, AMD apu.
